OUR SENIOR PASTOR

SOLOMON RAJU GANTA

"By the way of the sea...the people who sat in darkness have seen a great LIGHT..." Matthew 4:15&16

The native pioneering missionary, Solomon Raju, was called by the Lord while he was serving as a devout worshipper to lord Krisha in India, to take the glad tidings to the outcast (dalit) people on the sea coast in 1960s. Often he is called the "Unsung Hero of the Gospel" by his contemporaries and other gospel pioneering workers of rural India.

There were no roads, no transportation; he had to go on foot on the thistles and thorns. Idolatry, witchcraft and communism were prevelant. He was threatened and beaten by the anti christians many times. Every drop of blood he shed, was the seed of this ministry. He fled from one place to another and wherever he was, he preached the gospel. The series of fleeing made him to preach the gospel to many untold multitudes. As he accepted Christ his parents did not give him any share of the property. He lost everything for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ and looking unto the Lord for our daily bread.

"We need not fear the perils around us,

Because the eye of the Lord is always upons us."
