Church Construction

The people of Santhinagar in the village of Sankaraguptam, Malikipuram Mandal of East Godavari district were known as idol worshippers living world life. Having called by God in 1968 I (Pastor Ganta Solomon Raju) went into the village with a great vision and burden for souls.

The ministry began in the hut of a family with two physically handicapped people namely– Netala Buli Venkanna (lame) and Nalli Janakamma (blind). Preaching the gospel had become a challenging task for me amidst persecution both from gentiles and government. Enduring all sorts of sufferings the work of God began to grow. When we were homeless, we were given an abandoned house and there in the veranda we used to worship the Lord for a number of years.

God’s grace enabled us to secure a little land for in 2000. We built a small shelter with thatched leaves in 2001. Worshipping in a thatched shed had been a disappoint in rainy season as it leaked and flooded and made everything helter-skelter. In 2004 we rebuilt the same thatched shelter with cement poles. But rain and windy atmosphere began to batter the thatched shed.

With dedication and by faith we laid the foundation stone of a new and strong church building on 2nd August 2013. So far the basement level was completed. The proposed church’s width and length are 21 × 45 ft. it’s total estimation is INR 1000,000 (US$20,000) We are independent; we do not have any foreign or mission support. We laid the foundation with great faith in the Lord. We believe that our beloved brothers and sister in Christ Jesus would extend their generous hands towards the construction of the Lord’s temple. As the Lord inspires you please land us your prayerful support.
